A person, before a progress bar.
01Leave room for questions, different ways of working and the attempt that needs another look.

A course is the beginning.
Learning is what comes next.
LMS Blueprint is made by Academic Method, founded by Kevin Fenemore. It grew from his search for a platform that supported the teaching he wanted to do after university teaching. This page explains why he built it, the experience behind it, and why the learner’s work belongs alongside the course.
Our story/ Why it exists
A lesson gives someone a place to begin. Their questions, attempts and mistakes tell you what to teach next.
LMS Blueprint brings those things together: the course, the student’s work and the response to that work. In a school that belongs to you.

Room to put an idea to work. Feedback on the attempt. Context for what comes next.
That is the space we are building for. Workbooks hold the attempt. Feedback responds to it. Folio connects relevant work across the course, so the next lesson has somewhere to begin.
/ From the founder

I wanted to move beyond teaching at universities and build courses that help people teach and learn: educators understanding how to teach, and learners understanding how to learn.
I started looking for a platform that would let me do that. I couldn’t find one that did what I needed. With my background in computer science, I decided to build my own.
That decision became LMS Blueprint.
