Can I start without AI?
Yes. Free includes courses, ordered lessons, basic quizzes, progress, the dashboard and certificates. Core adds workbooks, study tools, the store and design tools. AI is an add-on with a separate provider key and usage bill.
Is the AI key included?
No. Connect your own the provider you choose API key. You choose and pay the provider directly.
Can I move an existing course?
The import routes cover documents, folders and supported Tutor LMS, LifterLMS or Sensei content on the same site. Check each record type separately.
Where is student data kept?
Student records are stored in your WordPress database. Enabled AI, payment, email and connected services process the relevant requests externally.
